Introducing RIDE Triathlon Team Powered by Wattie Ink

Hottest New Team in Southern California will Rock the “W” on the Triathlon Race Circuit

Encinitas, CA — Family-owned, full-service bicycle retailer RIDE Cyclery has launched its own Triathlon Team.  Partnering with the renowned Wattie Ink brand, the team will be based in San Diego and will be rocking the “W” on the triathlon race circuit.

The newly created RIDE Triathlon Team Powered by Wattie Ink features a hand-selected group of 60 members including age group competitors and professional triathletes.

RIDE Cyclery owner, Brent Garrigus, has assembled a solid group around him to form this team, including his Business Development Manager, Jake Jendusa, and Team Director & Professional Triathlete, Sam Corace. The trio has secured partnerships with some of the most trusted brands in the industry to form dynamic relationships with support not found on most amateur teams.

“We were overwhelmed by the response of local athletes to our idea for a new triathlon team and we can’t wait to see our members attack their goals all over the U.S.,” said Garrigus. “To help them do that, we couldn’t be more proud to be working with the best sponsors in the business—we’re thrilled to partner with these top brands and triathletes.”

Working with RIDE Cyclery and Wattie Ink, the team has partnered with YMCA of San Diego, GQ-6, Encontro North Park, Jump Television Studios - Sully on the Air, Felt Bicycles, Knight Composites, Speedfil by Inviscid Design, Blueseventy, Pioneer Cycle Sports, BioAstin - Nutrex Hawaii, Zealios Skin Care, Matty Reed Racing, Michellie Jones’ Giddy Up MultiSport, Lyle Fitness Consulting and LiFT Creative Studios.

“Our goal is to build a team that welcomes all levels and abilities to achieve their goals, promotes the sport in a healthy & positive manner, & give back to the community through charitable fundraising and volunteering” said Corace. “Our hope for this team, our sponsors and athletes is to help inspire more people to live a healthy lifestyle through the sport of Triathlon.”

RIDE Triathlon Team will be in full force at Ironman 70.3 Oceanside April 2nd.
