Where are you located, and how do I find you?

We're at 449 S Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas, CA 92024. The entrance is at the rear of the building — pull into the parking area behind the building and you'll see our workshop entrance. If you get lost, call us at (760) 632-1500 and we'll talk you in.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are always welcome. For major repairs or overhauls, you're welcome to call ahead so we can give you a realistic time estimate, but it's never required.

How long does a tune-up take?

Basic tune-ups are typically done same day or next day, depending on how busy the shop is. Comprehensive tune-ups and overhauls usually take 2–4 days. We'll give you an honest estimate when you drop off.

Do you work on e-bikes?

Yes — e-bikes are a big part of what we do. We service all major brands and motor systems: Bosch, Shimano Steps, Bafang, Rad Power, Aventon, Lectric, and more. Bring it in.

What is the California E-Bike Compliance Check?

California's new 2026 laws (SB 1271 and AB 1774) changed the rules for e-bikes. Our Compliance Check ($49) verifies your e-bike's classification, speed settings, battery certification, and safety equipment, and gives you a written report. It takes 15–30 minutes, walk-ins welcome.

Do you sell bikes?

Yes — through our online store at ridecyclery.com. Our physical shop is service-first, but we carry a full catalog online and can help you find the right bike for your budget and riding style.

Do you offer bike rentals?

Yes. We rent road bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes by the hour or day. See our rental options.
