RIDE 2U ready to weather the storm

As winter storms hit San Diego, it is nothing like what other parts of the state are dealing with as the "atmospheric river" continues to pelt Califonia. As for today, RIDE 2U is headed to Carmel Mountain and Del Mar for appointments. I love that we save our customers from having to find a way to get their bikes to the shop to be serviced.

I love that I can keep working, no matter the weather, rain, wind, scorching sun, the RIDE 2U van is a self contained unit and can also be an oasis for riders who stop by and want to get out of the weather for a brief respite.

    RIDE Safe out there!

RIDE 2U in Downtown San Diego today

RIDE 2U is going urban! The van will be in Downtown San Diego today! Look for us on Market Street around lunchtime today. We have some bike builds and service on the schedule! It is an exciting time for RIDE Cyclery going into 2017!

Then, we are headed back up to Oceanside from a referral!

RIDE 2U's online scheduling is now live!

We have been working hard at RIDE to make it easier for you to schedule service anywhere in San Diego county. Our online schedule just went live where you can schedule our RIDE 2U Mobile Showroom and Service Center to come to your home or business (or even roadside) to service your bikes, assemble a new bike, and even deliver local orders.

Happy New Year from RIDE 2U Mobile Service

We will be in the Sorrento Valley/Carmel Valley area just south of Del Mar as we kick off 2017 on the road.

According to the forecast, it should stay overcast for most of the day and cap out at 56 degrees, so dress appropriately on your RIDE today. Later this afternoon, I will have the van parked and posted up at the old Spy Happy Camp in Leucadia, near La Costa Avenue on Coast Highway 101.

Wrenching in the rain with RIDE 2U

Wow, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday, I was on the East side of Mira Mesa, near I-15 when it was beautiful and sunny, then today, I was in Clairmont/Pacific Beach area and had rain the entire way down I-5.

I love the ease for our customers RIDE 2U provides. Getting into the shop can be difficult enough, it is exponentially more difficult when it is raining. My customers today were able to stay dry while we chatted and I worked on their bikes.

Hopefully it will clear up when I drive over to Scripps Ranch and Poway this afternoon.
