The weather looks like it's clearing up

After yesterdays storm kept most if not all cyclists off the roads and trails, today's forecast is much drier giving you the opportunity to get out and shake your legs off after a rough week with unusually heavy rain for San Diego.

Due to high winds, we decided to cancel our shop rides, but RIDE 2U is available and staged up at the Las Pulgas gate of Camp Pendleton. Hopefully, I will see some of you out there today. I will be there from 9AM to Noon.

This has become a standard location for the RIDE 2U van to post up at on rotating Saturdays. We are updating our website and the RIDE 2U page will soon reflect our regular weekend locations so you can plan accordingly.

Another wet day in San Diego, just another day at RIDE 2U

Starting off today with a wet morning at GoPro in Carlsbad. It's just another day for RIDE 2U in that we do not let it dampen our spirits because we come to you rain or shine. Our mobile service van keeps us warm and dry to work on your bike.

Rainy, wet days are the perfect time to schedule an appointment with RIDE 2U because they generally are not days one would want to RIDE. Our convenient mobile service at your home or workplace gives you the opportunity to have your bicycle serviced when you wouldn't be riding it, so it is ready for the days you want to head out to the road or trail.

Schedule an appointment today and see the advantages for yourself!

RIDE 2U ready to weather the storm

As winter storms hit San Diego, it is nothing like what other parts of the state are dealing with as the "atmospheric river" continues to pelt Califonia. As for today, RIDE 2U is headed to Carmel Mountain and Del Mar for appointments. I love that we save our customers from having to find a way to get their bikes to the shop to be serviced.

I love that I can keep working, no matter the weather, rain, wind, scorching sun, the RIDE 2U van is a self contained unit and can also be an oasis for riders who stop by and want to get out of the weather for a brief respite.

    RIDE Safe out there!

Spending time at the Las Pulgas Entrance at Camp Pendleton today

Today started off calm with a few drops of rain, then cleared. When I first set up, there was a light breeze and it was warming up. This is our first weekend at the Las Pulgas Entrance to Camp Pendleton.

It has been great to see so many riders swing through and say Hi!

It has cooled off quite a bit from this morning after the wind started to pick up. As I pack up here, I am going to spend the second half of the day at Calavera in Carlsbad.

RIDE 2U in Downtown San Diego today

RIDE 2U is going urban! The van will be in Downtown San Diego today! Look for us on Market Street around lunchtime today. We have some bike builds and service on the schedule! It is an exciting time for RIDE Cyclery going into 2017!

Then, we are headed back up to Oceanside from a referral!
